SDTTS Media Ambassador

The San Diego Turtle and Tortoise Society is pleased to introduce Ms. Mallory, our new society ambassador. As a well known conservationist, she is going to help promote conservation with the SDTTS through original videos, TV appearances, articles and education.

Ms. Mallory is a former director of animal husbandry and education at the Tennessee Safari Park, overseeing conservation breeding programs and providing opportunities for the public to interact with many of the world’s rare and endangered animals. As if her career with exotic wildlife was not enough, Ms. Mallory is also a certified Wildlife Rehabilitator, spokesperson, outdoor enthusiast, and avid community service volunteer.

Are you interested in becoming a conservationist yourself? You can! Ms. Mallory's philosophy is that anyone can be a conservationist. Certainly there are scientists and professionals that are conservationists, but there is nothing to stop anyone with the passion for learning and making a difference in the wonderful world around them from becoming one too. From photographers to farmers, cleanup crews to campers, there are many types of conservationists out there. To learn more about becoming one, join Ms. Mallory on her many adventures at www.msmalloryadventures.com.
