Koi Pond Clean-Up at Deer Park

The 400 acre Deer Park Monastery is located just north of Escondido. This month they needed to work on a Koi Pond that was leaking and they called on Vagabond Koi Rescue and the San Diego Turtle and Tortoise Society to help rescue the Koi and Turtles that needed to be removed from the pond. A large group of volunteers met at the Solidarity Pond and played in the muck and mud while successfully clearing the pond of residents! Now to find new homes for them...
